A Look Back at The Luxury Wedding Show London

On Saturday I visited the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, for a day out at The Luxury Wedding Show London.

This was the launch of The Luxury Wedding Show London and, although I was really looking forward to it, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I had hoped the show would be full of glamour and luxury… and it didn’t disappoint!

The Saatchi Gallery was full of the finest wedding suppliers, whose booths all looked amazing and really made this event the most exclusive wedding show in London. Exhibitors included some of The Wedding Community’s very own wedding suppliers: bridal wear boutique Luella’s Boudoir, top wedding cake designer Maisie Fantaisie, wedding cake and croquembouche specialist Le Papillon Patisserie, bridal wear designers¬†Ellie Lowe and honeymoon specialists The Turquoise Holiday Company.

Visitors were able to enjoy a glass of Pommery Champagne whilst watching the bridal catwalk, and each visitor received a goodie bag full of gifts, from brands such as Dermalogica, Elemis, Pearl Drops and L’Oreal.

The bridal catwalk has to be the best I have ever seen. I sat in the front row and waited with great anticipation to see what the bridal designers have created for the coming season. WOW! That really is the best word to describe the dresses on the catwalk. From the timeless elegance of the Temperley London dresses, created with the finest fabrics, laces and silks, to the avant-garde couture dresses from Vivienne Westwood, including her bright red ‘Paperbag Frill Dress’. Other designers included Luella’s Boudoir, Ellie and Charlotte, David Fielden, Charlotte Casadejus, The State of Grace, Kula Tsurdiu, Candy Anthony, Vera Wang and many more. Each of the dresses was met with delighted whispers around the room.
