Inspired by vintage couture, Anne Barge bridal collections combine the best of classic design and modern trends. For the stunning new Anne Barge Spring 2020 collection, wedding dresses with a fresh, modern vibe put a spin on old world charm.
Silhouettes including ball gown, trumpet, sheath and A-line provide figure-flattering fits for the latest designs carefully crafted with lace, crepe and Mikado scuba fabric. Dramatic corset bodices and princess tulle with lace appliqués give an ultra-feminine touch, while intricate seaming adds a layer of depth and luxury.
As well as seven dress styles, the Anne Barge Spring 2020 collection also includes two very different capes, Griffin and Jasper, and the Covington coat. This incredible long sleeved jacquard coat features a shawl collar and embossed floral design. It really is special, so be sure to check it out in the gallery.
Each dress in the collection is sophisticated and elegant with an oh-so romantic look. I’ve picked out three of my favourites pieces from this eclectic mix of styles…
Whether in white or ‘Steel Blue’ as shown here, the Emory dress is simply stunning. The clean, contemporary silhouette with v-notched bodice and full ball gown skirt is a thing of beauty.
This strapless dress is one of two styles in the Anne Barge Spring 2020 collection made from stunning re-embroidered baroque lace. For me though, the flattering sheath silhouette just gives Cumberland the edge over the A-line ‘Savannah’ dress.
Lula features long illusion sleeves, rose and bud embroidered appliqués and a fitted bodice with elegant v-neckline. Layers of tulle create a fabulous full skirt for this feminine ball gown design.
This stunning collection sees the serene romance of the past and cutting-edge sophistication of the contemporary intertwine. View the full collection in the gallery below, and find your local Anne Barge stockist at www.annebarge.com/pages/store-locator.
