The Rebecca Ingram Camille Fall 2018 collection brings timeless elegance and luxurious wedding dresses to value-conscious brides. If you are looking for a truly elegant and gorgeous wedding dress, the Camille collection is for you.
Flattering silhouettes, understated embellishments and multiple in-demand colours make this collection charming and flirty. Delicate lace, satin, chiffon, tulle, organza, vintage-inspired lace motifs, Swarovski crystals, gorgeous embellishments, and beautiful beaded embroidery are just a few of the design features in this collection. These features combine to give a sophisticated look whilst maintaining natural elegance and beauty.
Like the dresses from Rebecca Ingram’s sister company, Maggie Sottero, the Camille collection is available in plus sizes. Every bride will find a dress that flatters her figure and is designed in accordance with contemporary trends.
Here are my three favourite dresses from the Rebecca Ingram Camille Fall 2018 collection…
I absolutely love the beaded lace motifs and Swarovski crystal design that cascade over the bodice of this elegant A-line wedding dress, accenting the illusion jewel over sweetheart neckline and illusion back. A voluminous tulle skirt completes this romantic look.
The Maggie Sottero Lucienne Fall 2018 collection has such an awesome boho feel about it. Known for her beautifully structured wedding dresses that have such romantic detailing, Maggie Sottero’s latest collection does not disappoint.
Inspired by the love stories of real couples, Lucienne proposes that there’s a gown for every love story. I agree. From the sleek and minimally embellished to the voluminous and decadently detailed, the fall 2018 collection has it all.
“We’re inspired by modern romantics, big adventures, and happy surprises. We aim to create graceful and enduring bridal looks with a fresh and couture aesthetic.” – Maggie Sottero
The Lucienne Fall 2018 collection features an abundance of lace, floaty sleeves, gorgeous backs, sleeves, cold shoulders, and the extra addition of tulle skirts to some of the dresses. There’s lots of hand-beaded work, original embellishments and romantic designs.
The best thing about Maggie Sottero wedding dresses is that they are available in plus sizes. The gallery below includes all the plus size dresses from the Lucienne collection so you can see these styles too.
So if you’re planning a glamping getaway or woodsy-chic soiree for your wedding, why not opt for one these soft, uniquely sexy and ultra-romantic styles?
I’ve picked a few of my favourite boho wedding dress styles from the Maggie Sottero Lucienne Fall 2018 collection…
This is my favourite wedding dress in the Lucienne collection. The lace motifs atop of the nude lining add an ‘ooh la la’ factor without sacrificing comfort. The nude layer underneath really helps the white lace make an impact.
The Mikaella Fall 2018 bridal collection is edgy, on-trend, versatile and oh so elegant. From chic fit and flare designs to timeless, elegant ball gowns, the new Mikaella collection has something for even the most discerning of today’s modern brides.
This season’s wedding dresses feature guipure lace, organza, mesh tulle, sequins, lace appliqué, elegant beading and gorgeous embroidery. The collection is sophisticated and classy whilst providing natural elegance and beauty, with each dress made with impeccable attention to detail and innovative styling and fit.
There are so many exquisite details in the Mikaella Fall 2018 collection. Styles like 2206 and 2215 exemplify today’s style trends, blended with stunning accents which in turn create a beautiful visual harmony. Intricate spaghetti strap backs and corset bodice designs also complement this season’s ultra-feminine collection, as seen in styles 2201 and 2209.
On a ‘side note’, Mikaella has also included some sexy side slits and side seam pockets to enhance some of this season’s alluring designs. 2212 is the essence of sophistication, elegantly fashioned with a sequin lace bodice, full organza skirt and side seam pockets. Style 2202 on the other hand is catered towards brides looking to capture a more glamorous look for their wedding. This wedding dress features a halter neckline, elegant beaded appliqué and full mesh tulle skirt with a side slit.
With so many beautiful wedding dresses, choosing my top three was a hard decision, but here they are…
If you’re looking for glamorous meets super sexy you will love this dress. The elegant fit and flare figure-hugging cut, together with the boat neckline and pretty beaded belt, looks so classic. Turn to the back and this dress has the most amazing inverted v-back neckline.
The stunning new Paloma Blanca Fall/Winter 2018 Collection effortlessly captures the true essence of romance and modern day elegance.
Swarovski crystal buttons, side slit skirts and beaded guipure lace appliqués are just some of the many examples of what to look forward to. From modern design concepts to classic, elegant accents that will captivate any bride looking to incorporate a touch of class to her wedding day, the Paloma Blanca Fall/Winter 2018 collection is sure to please even the most style-conscious bride.
French Alencon lace features a lot in the wedding dresses in the latest collection. With intricate design details and a smooth delicate texture, this lace embodies femininity and style, without losing the entrancing shape of Paloma Blanca’s signature silhouettes. Styles 4806 and 4813 are perfect examples of this.
Chantilly lace, soft organza and Italian tulle also feature, giving a soft and romantic feel to each design. Styles 4815 and 4816 both show how the use of texture in fabrics can create sophisticated designs without sacrificing sass.
Super-hot this season, removable accents give brides the ability to evolve their style throughout the day. The beautiful removable sequin Chantilly lace capelet shown with Style 4805 perfectly complements this Crepe fit and flare wedding dress as it add shape to the shoulders.
So, those are some of the standout wedding dresses in the Paloma Blanca Fall/Winter 2018 collection, but here are a few of my favourites…
Created using beautiful sequin Chantilly lace, I adore this fit and flare wedding dress. The deep V-neckline makes this stunning wedding dress super-feminine. It’s classic yet modern, and would look amazing no matter what style of wedding you choose.
The 4804 wedding dress is available in natural lace with blush satin, pearl satin or champagne satin lining.
Oh my days. I am totally smitten with the enchanting wedding dresses in the Alexandra Grecco The Magic Hour 2018 bridal collection – and magical they certainly are!
If I’m completely honest, it’s rare that I come across a new bridal collection and I love all the wedding dresses – there’s usually one or two that are just not my thing. But I can honestly say I adore all the dresses in The Magic Hour collection. I can even say that one is my favourite wedding dress for 2018 (and I’ve seen a LOT of wedding dresses!). I’ll reveal which one it is later.
Alexandra Grecco designs balance modern elements with effortless style. Her collections tend to stray from tradition, while featuring high-quality fabrics and intricate hand-embroidery. The clean lines and chic silhouettes contrast perfectly with the soft, ethereal details throughout each wedding dress. Alexandra Grecco’s signature ‘effortless’ bridal style is making big waves in the industry; she is most definitely a designer to watch.
A recent trip to Ile de Re, an island off the west coast of France, along with silhouettes and details from 1920’s circuses, inspired the Alexandra Grecco The Magic Hour 2018 bridal collection.
Polka dots and fringe feathers give a contemporary and playful feel, and incredible floral appliqués, glittery fabric, exquisite hand-embroidery and dazzling details add romance. I love the addition of colour, inspired by the pastel buildings and hollyhock followers that lined the narrow cobblestone streets on the island. The unique Wilder gown in lavender (also available in Perlé, off-white) is a real showstopper.
With a full array of styles and cuts, there is a wedding dress for everyone in The Magic Hour collection. From figure-hugging elegant white dresses, and coloured, floaty dresses with plunging necklines, to beautiful dresses with capped sleeves and dresses with long sleeves and feather trims. For a dress to dance the night away in, Coco, with multiple tiers of ostrich feathers, will twirl with you.
The most alluring feature is the floral appliqués that adorn the Lana, Wilder and Iris Floral gowns. Inspired by the flowers found on the island, the floral elements are hand-embroidered on illusion tulle and made to look like tattoos. Just splendid!
The Alexandra Grecco The Magic Hour 2018 collection is full of surprises, and perfect for free-spirited brides. These are my favourite three dresses in the collection…
I am so in love with this dress. It is my favourite wedding dress for 2018. Extraordinarily beautiful, it’s the pièce de résistance of the entire collection, and quite rightly so.
The intricate hand-embroidered floral appliqué is truly a work of art. Coupled with a plunging V-neckline and strappy back detail that nearly disappears, Iris Floral is the showstopper – hands down. Imagine the look on your husband-to-be’s face when he sees you walking down the aisle towards him.
This beauty is available with champagne or off-white embroidery.
