Grace Loves Lace Icon 2018 Bridal Collection

I’m overjoyed to feature the Grace Loves Lace Icon 2018 Bridal Collection. Grace Loves Lace’s carefree, romantic designs form the kind of wedding dress you won’t want to take off!

Renowned for challenging the status quo and refuting against restrictive, uncomfortable dresses that don’t allow women to move freely, Founder and Creative Director Megan Ziems says the collection is an exciting interpretation of what women want in 2018. “We design for women with a strong sense of self”, she said. The range plays to the strengths of Grace Loves Lace – comfortable fits, effortless silhouettes and unexpected fabric combinations.

Grace Loves Lace Icon 2018 Bridal Collection - Coco Dress

“The Grace Loves Lace Icon collection celebrates self-expression as a form of personal freedom. Our dresses are an extension of a woman’s substance – they make you feel something.”

Icon celebrates the woman, her body and her character. The nine wedding dresses in the collection are some of the most inspiring I have seen this season, featuring deceptively full skirts, exotic trims, layering, bold patterns and intricate detail. Each wedding dress is more than meets the eye. Look closer to reveal blink-and-you’ll-miss-it metallic beading, iridescent threading and playful details like star trims and secret garden embroidery.

Gosh I love these dresses, so it is really hard to choose favourites, but there are some standout dresses…

Beautiful Blush Wedding Dresses for Fall 2018/Spring 2019

Blush wedding dresses are a great modern alternative to the traditional white or ivory dress. The pretty pinky hues, from soft shell pink to rose gold palettes, offer a romantic feel that suits every type of bride. This season bridal designers have launched some incredible styles, so I’d like to share some of the most beautiful blush wedding dresses for fall 2018 and spring 2019.

Iris Floral by Alexandra Grecco

Iris Floral Blush Wedding Dress from the Alexandra Grecco The Magic Hour 2018 Bridal Collection

I am so in love with this dress. My favourite wedding dress for 2018, the extraordinarily beautiful Iris Floral is the pièce de résistance of the Alexandra Grecco The Magic Hour 2018 Collection.

The intricate hand-embroidered floral appliqué is a work of art. Coupled with a plunging V-neckline and strappy back detail that nearly disappears, Iris Floral is the showstopper – hands down. Imagine the look on your groom’s face when he sees you walking down the aisle towards him.

Alexia by Anna Georgina Couture

Alexia Blush Wedding Dress from the Anna Georgina Couture Pandora 2019 Bridal Collection

Alexia from the Anna Georgina Couture Pandora 2019 Collection is elegantly formed with layers of glittering tulle and a sexy deep plunging neckline. I adore the pretty shade of palest pink which makes the beautiful sequins and fabulous floral beading shine.

Inspired by the love stories of real couples, Lucienne proposes that there’s a gown for every love story. I agree. From the sleek and minimally embellished to the voluminous and decadently detailed, the fall 2018 collection has it all.

Abbie

Abbie Wedding Dress from the Maggie Sottero Lucienne Fall 2018 Bridal Collection

This is my favourite wedding dress in the Lucienne collection. The lace motifs atop of the nude lining add an ‘ooh la la’ factor without sacrificing comfort. The nude layer underneath really helps the white lace make an impact.
