Pink and Gold Dessert Table Inspiration

If you’re a dessert lover then today you’re in for a real treat, as I share these beautiful pink and gold dessert table ideas.

Dessert tables have been very popular at weddings for quite a few years now. Not only are they a way of providing your nearest and dearest with delicious sweet treats, they’re also a great way to create a showstopping display. Beautifully captured by L’Estelle Photography, these gorgeous ideas by Table and Company have a real wow factor.

They styled the table with desserts and florals in summery pink shades to create a romantic garden vibe. The delicately crafted desserts look divine, from the cute meringue kisses and macarons to the strawberry mousse cups and individual wedding cakes. The impressive suspended wedding cake, reminiscent of a children’s garden swing, gives a lovely nod to the garden feel.

Just imagine your guests faces if they walked into the room to see this incredible delight…

Sophisticated and Elegant

“Table and Company’s aim for this dessert table was to evoke a romantic garden feeling. We used sophisticated flowers including a mix of different types of pink roses, Phalaenopsis orchids and Bells of Ireland for a touch of green.

“The desserts were all made to suit the overall theme… a delicious selection of strawberry mousse cups, churros cups with dulce de leche, delicate pavlova with fresh cream and fruit toppings, meringue kisses, shortbread cookies and French macarons, all elegantly displayed on gold cake stands.

“We used display stands in a simple gold theme to create a neutral background for all the flowers and desserts.”

Burgundy and Pink Floral Wedding Styling

I just love these show-stopping burgundy and pink floral wedding styling ideas. Created by floral designer Lori’s Flowers and beautifully photographed by Elizabeth Burgi Photography, these ideas would work well for a wedding in any season, but the burgundy tones make them particularly suited to a winter wedding. Shades of burgundy always look wonderfully dramatic, but when mixed with pops of bright pink they really come alive.

The idea behind this styled shoot was to inspire brides looking for beautiful ideas for wedding florals for their bouquet, table and venue. Lori used roses as the main focal flower in the bouquet and table arrangements. In shades of rich, velvety burgundy and fabulous bright fuchsia pink they look divine. Paler shades of dahlia, stocks, scabiosa, ranunculus, and dark green foliage fill the arrangements.

Of course, you can’t help but notice the bride’s beautiful wedding dress too. This stunning off-the shoulder, long sleeved dress with lace bodice has a beautiful tulle train and is a real head-turner! I don’t often see brides wearing tiaras any more, but the one the bride is wearing is incredible. The entwined gold almost looks branch-like, and encrusted in black and white jewels this unique piece really stands out.

This whole shoot is oh so pretty. Our thanks go to Elizabeth Burgi for sharing these beautiful pictures…

“When Lori’s Flowers asked if I wanted to do a mini styled shoot of a table top and bride with bouquet I was totally on board. I love Lori’s fresh but classic style with flowers.

“Lori set the table with gorgeous burgundy and pink flowers that would be perfect for a fall or winter wedding. The model wore a custom gown by Niquie, and the flirty lace and bold jewel toned flowers fit together beautifully.”

Bride standing in front of ceremony backdrop and seating tropically styled with bougainvillea

Bright Pink Tropical Wedding Styling with Bougainvillea

Today’s incredible wedding inspiration is full of stylish details and fabulous tropical florals. The styling team, led by Perfect the Event, used bougainvillea, a bright pink tropical climbing plant, to bring an explosion of colour to the shoot. Combined with palm leaves it creates a real wow factor for this tropical wedding styling.

The 1912 in California, with its aristocratic vibe and sophisticated allure, works so well as the backdrop. Used in varying ways, the fabulous tropical foliage and flowers bring the venue to life. I love the statement floral ceremony arch, and the same magnificent florals create spectacular table arrangements where the flowers cascade over the edges. Although bright and colourful, the minimal styling allows the florals to take centre stage.

Colourful Wonder

“The light gently pours down onto green and fuchsia beds of exotic growth. Elephant ears and monstera leaves showcase the vibrant tones of the bougainvillea, and candle light dances beneath. A once urban framework quickly evolves into the lair of the jungle and the birthplace of the rainforest elephant.

“Cascading into a place she thought she once knew, but now looks like a foreign world; she slowly walks through. Taking in each detail, each touch of pigmented gold, each round edge of grey river rock china. She now sees the beauty of what has become of her once big city memories. A Hayley Paige design hugs her body, as her Maria Elena headpiece and wrist statement glisten, she is ready for this day. The day she becomes one with the man she met in this foreign world, and fell madly in love with. He is prone to this world, and thrives in the colourful wonder.

“This is the day that their two worlds collide. The modern marvel and the jungle gentleman.”

Modern Pink and Yellow Wedding Styling Mood Board

Modern Pink and Yellow Wedding Styling

It’s July and the sun is shining (well, sort of), so today we are sharing some amazing ideas for modern pink and yellow wedding styling; what better colours to symbolise a summer wedding?

We have found ideas using bright and bold pink and yellow, but you can of course tame the colour scheme down a little using lemon and baby pink, or peach, which would also look pretty for a summer or spring wedding.

We love the styling ideas that include modern patterns including zigzag, stripes and geometric patterns, all of which are popular for weddings at the moment.

So, here are some of our favourite finds for modern pink and yellow wedding styling.

A Pink and Metallic Styled Wedding Shoot

Metallics, pinks and sparkle; what more could you possibly dream of on this wet morning?

Everything about this shoot exudes glamour and sophistication. The tablescapes in the shoot are to die for and we love the pretty ribbon ceremony backdrop.

If you are looking for pretty, stylish wedding inspiration then look no further – you are going to be in wedding heaven!

Our thanks go to the talented creative team, Liberty Pearl Photography and Grace Elizabeth Photography for sharing these amazing pictures with us.

“We wanted to create a fun, stylish and self-indulgent wedding set-up using metallics, hot pinks, textures and fabrics, whilst exploring height and light.

“Anna Sawle of Wedding Flowers in Cornwall used their metallic sequin tablecloths, combining the over-indulgent glitzy look with their mercury glass ranges. To work with the metallic and pink colour scheme Anna let her inner Barbie take over, using lots of gold and pink with splashes of silver.

“Sarah Buckmaster of ER Stationery was immediately drawn to an opulent and timelessly classic style to fit in with the surroundings of St Ives Harbour Hotel. Coupled with the colour scheme and theme, Sarah opted to use sumptuous satins and metallic highlights within the ribbons, topped with a stunning diamanté brooch to encapsulate the theme and create a stunning yet romantic design which complemented the styling of the day.”
