Tequlia Rose Shots

Tequila Rose Cocktails and Cupcakes

It’s not often we share ideas for drinks, but today we’d like to introduce you to Tequila Rose. If you haven’t tried it before, you must! Tequila Rose is a unique blend of strawberry flavour cream liqueur and premium Mexican tequila, and it’s SO good!

A Perfect Hen Party Drink

If you are looking for a special drink for your hen party, or even your wedding (maybe for the evening as it might be a little much for the daytime), then this might be the tipple you are looking for.

Tequlia Rose Shots

I’m partial to a strawberry liqueur (usually in a cocktail), but I’m not usually a fan of tequila… however, I loved Tequila Rose!

I recently organised my sister’s hen party (feature coming soon) and I was sent a bottle of Tequila Rose to try; what better way to try it than with a group of hens! It’s a pretty pink colour, which was perfect for our hen party theme. It also made a really nice change from the wine and bubbles.

Tequila Rose Cocktails

Tequila Rose is a beautiful drink on its own (it’s too good to down in one; this one is a ‘sipping’ shot!), but it’s also really good in a cocktail.

A modern hen weekend is more than a trip to the local wearing an L-plate, veil and garish, LED-embedded garter. European cities are perfect for this kind of contemporary hen weekend. Anthony Fray of Last Night of Freedom has narrowed down the top hen party city break locations…

Barcelona

Barcelona is one of the most popular hen party city break locations outside of the UK. It offers a brilliant mixture of culture and entertainment unlike any other European city.

The cosy cocktail bars and underground clubs nestled amongst the tall alleys of the BarriGòtic (Gothic Quarter) offer a great atmosphere for groups. Then there’s the fabulous Port Olímpic promenade. Huge venues like Shoko and Opium are upmarket restaurants through the day and high-end nightclubs through the night.

During the day Barcelona‘s beautiful stretches of underrated beach are perfect for sipping a mojito and dipping your toes in the Med. When you’re not engaging in retail therapy or exploring the local landmarks, that is.

Valencia

With beautiful beaches and a picturesque port, the sheer splendour of Valencia makes it an easy selection for this list.

Valencia‘s growing reputation as a pulsating party city is well deserved. It’s not just about the handsome historical buildings and monuments, such as the 13th century cathedral. You’ll also find a large provision of bars, restaurants, salsa and flamenco venues and nightclubs filled with young, olive-skinned locals and enthusiastic foreign visitors.
