I am thrilled that The Wedding Community is one of the first wedding sites to feature the extraordinary new Halfpenny London The Air That We Breathe Fall 2019 Collection. I have always loved Halfpenny London wedding dresses but this collection takes it to another level.
The collection includes sixteen beautifully crafted designs, each named after a different location in London. Designed for the modern bride, these new wedding dresses are effortlessly cool.
There are some jaw-dropping designs in this collection, including the magnificent ‘Neptune’ blazer with the Breeze dress. This is a fabulous combination and has a very distinctive look.
“A magical adventure into a fairytale romance and enchanting English garden inspired this season.” – Kate Halfpenny
Halfpenny London The Air That We Breathe features ethereal princess silhouettes crafted from layers of pleated tulle, duchess satin and silk organza. The whimsical play on soft, delicate dresses and separate modern tops and skirts embodies a fashion-forward collection with a classic, feminine touch. There is also the addition of the most magnificent veils (wait until you see the Bloomsbury veil) and detachable sleeves, such as the pretty Marylebone sheer sleeves.
As with all the Halfpenny bridal collections, Kate brings incomparable creativity and versatility to her Fall 2019 Collection. Since launching her label in 2005 the London-based designer has been weaving ‘Brit cool,’ with a luxe sensibility, into her designs, creating innovative, chic dresses and separates for modern brides.
For me, the most unique pieces in the Halfpenny London Fall 2019 collection are…
This strapless layered tulle dress has an almost 1920s flapper look to it. I love the embroidered detail that adorns each layer; you will definitely shimmer down the aisle in Camden.
