The astonishing new Jenny Packham 2019 bridal collection offers brides-to-be a multitude of wedding dresses and separates that range from ethereal to elegant and all-out glamorous. 1920s inspired shapes are a favourite, with soft cap sleeves and unstructured hemlines featuring heavily in this opulent collection.
2018 marks the 30th anniversary of iconic bridal brand Jenny Packham. To celebrate the milestone, Jenny chose to debut her 2019 bridal collection at The Ritz hotel earlier this year, in the beautiful ‘Music Room’. It’s symbolic that she chose to mark the special occasion by coming ‘home’ to launch her latest bridal collection.
The wedding dresses in the Jenny Packham 2019 bridal collection boast all the hallmarks the designer is world renowned for. Sumptuous, light and floaty fabrics and delicate, impeccably hand-applied embellishments bring an effortless sense of luxury to all of Jenny’s dresses.
There are some wonderfully charming and fun elements to this collection, including the cute leather jacket, hand-painted by London based artist, Magda Archer. This collection also features a dazzling cream jumpsuit, and together with the jacket, Jenny said “it’s a totally fun choice that people might not expect”.
Those with a classical sensibility should fall for Packham’s signature bias-cut, cap-sleeve ivory satin dresses, delicately embroidered in iridescent beads. Brides who wish to show a little more skin will appreciate the sleek tulle halter dress or the strappy dress covered in stone-blue sequins.
The Jenny Packham 2019 bridal collection is full of character and sheer spender, and these are my top three dresses in the collection…
I love Millie because it’s a typical Jenny Packham wedding dress. It showcases everything we love about the designer, especially her use of intricate beadwork that adorns this dress.
Who said you have to wear a white wedding dress? If you are looking to break from tradition then how about this beautiful chiffon dress in the softest blue hue? This classic shape with a twist is stunning, don’t you think?
I love the shape of this tulle dress with sexy plunging neckline and sheer sleeves. The all-over vertical beading really makes this wedding dress sparkle.
It’s always so difficult to choose my favourite Jenny Packham wedding dresses as they are all so fabulous. You can find out more at www.jennypackham.com, and view the full Jenny Packham 2019 bridal collection right here…
